Iris Fold Patterns

… Save the panel, iris pattern, and design strips, greeting (strips and greeting are optional you can use your own paper or card stock and greeting), to your files (if you save to photos the png files change to jpeg, and lose the transparency. If you keep them as png files they should not even need any clean up if you upload to a cutting machine..  (left click to preview, then right click to save as)

 Iris fold for Valentine’s Day.

I used pop dots to raise the Iris folded panther up off of the two layered panels on the 5 x 7 card. I used left over Christmas wrapping ribbon to do the design…no folding no inked edges.

Png files…these will need to be sized to fit what ever card or matting you plan to use…to make sure the chart fits, mirror it, size it in the open heart area, and then flip it back…it needs to be the mirror image of the shape, as it’s worked face down..…if the numbers read correctly, it’s correct to print.…

A couple of blank templates to get you started on designing your own…don’t forget to size them

And a new filled one…

And even paper if you want!

Valentine Cupid Iris fold…
Full color or color your own.

This is a finished panel, not yet mounted on a card.

Once you upload these images you will need to size them to fit your card…5 inches wide is a good size for a 5 x 7 with room on the side fora greeting…go a little smaller for an A2 card. …flip the chart to size it in the heart space, but don’t forget to flip it back to print, it needs to be the reverse of the heart opening..if the numbers read correctly, that’s how it should print…

There are more Cupid templates on the daily post

If you use these templates to upload into a cutting machine do NOT take the white out of the charted heart pattern, you’ll need it there to read the chart and the outside white box dips what you tape your card to to make…just save as a print and cut file..  don’t really need to cut just print..….

 Couple on a Bike.

I put this design together by taking apart and reassembling five photos and drawing new parts for some…there are two patterns for the wheel a five piece, and a very easy four piece.

Before printing these out make sure you not only size them to fit your card, but you size the chart to fit in the wheel…
The centers can be filled with one or two strips of your main colors or a whole new color.
