Pop-Up Box Card cricut

 Pop-up card box base only.  You can cut the base free, then decorate both sides any way you want…the card will fit into a 5 x 7 envelope as is, or can actually go a bit bigger…you could also reduce it to fit an A2 card.

Looks like this on design space. 

To make…glue 4 panels on to the box section, and one panel to each side of the rectangle.  Decorate everything as wanted. Don’t add extra dimension or add too many layers to the pop up panel. (it makes it harder to slide through the slit to mail) … Fold box at score lines, all toward the inside.

 

The bottom two flaps is what you will glue the card panel to.  Don’t glue the flaps together until you put the panel between the pieces.

But it looks like this folded correctly.

Slide the panel in the slit and down even with the inside of the flaps..glue the flaps one to to each side of the card.

This allows the card to slide so you can close the card to mail.

Here (bottom) is also a png template if you want to cut by hand or separate the pieces to upload on your own.

These are all scraps.  You can use any thing you want as a center piece to make it fit your need.

Make sure to select all and make the panel and pieces fit the size card you want to make…it will stretch to almost any size..I make the back panel 1/2 inch smaller than the card dimensions so there is 1/4” all around.

Tips…glue in the corner pieces first leaving about 1/8th” on the edges, then fit in the other pieces…

Valentine Twist and Pop

 Candy Hearts in a Twist and Pop Card

There is a file in Cricut to do the whole card, or patterns to do one by hand, here…there is also a You Tube video to help in making the twist mechanism. (Links below)

Here’s the pattern to measure out your own….and below that, a png file if you want to just print to cut one…

This size will fit a A2 card (4.25 x 5.5) you can easily make everything larger to fit a larger card…

If you count the full size it’s 8 x 3 inches.  

Hearts..the first one just shows placement of the score lines…the second heart is a png file…you can print and use as the hearts or as a pattern to cut your own out by hand..the hearts are 9” x 4”

Here are the hearts I used inside, I also, matted them slightly, with black.  Png file,  make sure you size them, although they may not need it...

I cut panels for inside to help camouflage the popper piece, but it’s really not necessary, it barely shows, they are both 5 x 3”
